The ignition-system in a classic car is often the source of many problems. After many years the mechanical system is worn, and replacement of the points with an optical or magnetical setup, does not make up for wear in the advance-mechanism, the shaft and bearings etc.
Well, 123ignition is different. It comes in a housing, that exactly looks like its mechanical counterpart on the outside, but that houses a lot of high-tech on the inside.
A 123ignition keeps the looks under the bonnet 'original', but makes the engine spin like a Japanese sewing-machine! Moreover: you don't have to sacrifice your mechanical distributor.

AUTOPRIMEUR: EERSTE ELEKTRISCHE EEND OP KENTEKEN!
De eerste 2CV die omgebouwd is tot een elektrische auto is een primeur in autoland. Op 14 december 2009 is de zogenaamde ‘2CVolt’ door de RDW te Waddinxveen goedgekeurd; het gewijzigde kenteken is inmiddels binnen. Voor zover bekend, is dit de eerste oldtimer die is omgebouwd tot een elektrische auto en op kenteken is gewijzigd. Gelijk met het omkeuren van de elektrische eend heeft Leen ook zijn eigen ‘Gammel Trophy’ 2CV laten keuren (wijziging motor). In deze eend is een 2 cylinder BMW motorfietsblok gebouwd, met een cilinderinhoud van 1100 cc en een vermogen van 66 kW. read more...

Ik schrijf dit keer over roest. Roest dat is dat bruine spul dat je auto opeet! Iedere autoliefhebber, zeker van klassiekers kent het. Ik heb in ieder geval een hekel aan roest aan/op/in mijn auto! read more...
